Here are a Few Tips for Saying Thanking to Your Customers

1.     Send a Thank You Note

A handwritten thank you note goes a long way and makes a great impression. The note doesn’t have to be long – just tell your customers how much you appreciate working with them and maybe include a coupon or exclusive discount code.

Don’t feel like you have to sit down and write all the thank you notes in one day – sit down for 30 minutes a day and write just a few.

2.     Host a VIP Event

You can host an event exclusively for your best customers. You have lots of options here, depending on what your customers would like most:

  • keep the store open late so your best customers can shop without the crowds;

  • host a holiday party for your most loyal customers; or

  • host a free lunch and learn to teach your best customers a new way to use your products.

3.     Showcase Your Customers Online

Showcase your best customers on your business’s blog or social media accounts. You can do this by

  • posting your customers’ pictures (of them shopping in your store or using your products);

  • asking a customer to take over your social media account for the day; or

  • including an interview with your customer on your blog.

4.     Start a Loyalty Program

If you don’t already have a customer loyalty program, start one. Then, invite your best customers to join it so they can get exclusive discounts and sneak peaks at future products.

5.     Treat Your Customers to Coffee

Go and buy a gift card to Perks Coffee shop right here in Spruce Grove or Stony Plain. Then, share the code to the gift card on your Instagram account. Let your followers buy coffee on you until the card is empty.

There’s a good chance that your most loyal customers will be the first to see the code, so they’ll be able to go grab their morning coffee for FREE.

OR, better yet, stop by on WEDNESDAY mornings for Coffee Connections, 7:30-9:00 am, starting October 9th, and bring a colleague! Coffee's on us!

6.     Offer a Free Upgrade

Surprise your loyal customers by upgrading their next service for free or throwing in a small gift with their next purchase. (Did they buy a dress for a holiday party? Throw in a lip color that would look great with it!)

7.     Implement Their Suggestions

If a customer suggests for you to change something or add something to your business and you make the change, let them know. By telling them, “I implemented your suggestion”, you’re letting your customers know that you listen to them and that their feedback matters.
